Personal Health Consultations:

Greg offers private consultations to help folks find internal balance and support individual health goals with herbal medicine. A private health consultation usually lasts an hour, including intake forms, interview, and physical assessment. Greg will offer suggestions during the session, and follow up usually within two business days with an email summary of supportive herbal preparations, lifestyle and food choice recommendations. Do you want to discover the plant power where you live or work? Greg Monzel can lead you on a medicinal and edible tour of your space and show you how to connect with your botanical allies. For individuals or groups up to 20 people, ages 12 and up.

Speaking Events:

Looking for speakers for your herb and garden clubs and conferences? Greg has engaged audiences up to 1000 people at events such as the Great Lakes Herb Faire, Indiana Master Gardeners State Conference, and Central Indiana Herb Society Symposium.


Community Herbalist Bio:

Greg Monzel is a student of nature with a gift for nourishing deep connections between people and plants. He first experienced the medicinal power of plants as a teenager when he successfully treated his chronic strep-throat with raw pineapple. In 2007, Greg studied with renowned herbalist 7song at the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine and in 2013 with herbalist jim mcdonald in Michigan. He has been a practicing herbal educator, medicine maker and grower since 2008. He and his wife co-founded Persimmon Herb School in 2015 to hold plant centered space and build a healing community.
